We set off on a little road trip - Minneapolis to Spokane, Washington and Back. (all within a week!!!!).... Oh yeah, we also wanted to stop by Mount Rushmore to check it out..... Figured it would be a crime to drive within a couple hundred miles and not stop.
Madison was an incredible trooper.... she watched movies and played the entire way.... She's a great kid in the car...Here's some evidence...
Clearly ... Way too cool for us.....
She took some of her own pictures too.....
Of course, she did get bored.... but figured out that socks and shoes were not just for your feet!!! Could be a new fashion trend.
We're not sure what is with her and wanting to try on new shoes.... Here's what she looks like in Combat Boots!

Of course at least some family fotos....
Now on the way home.... at Custer State Park in South Dakota..... Here the wildlife can get up and personal.... We couldn't stop when we had a Bison this close tot he car... but this pack of donkeys had stopped traffic..... I actually had to get out and..um encourage them to move out of the way...(that means I had to push them)
Talk about narrow and windy roads... .this view of the GPS makes me think of intestines!
