This last week was COLD... talk about -10 overnight.. (Not counting windchill)... Of course, the humidity is low, so it's not that bad... it's a dry cold. Right.
Either way, we worked really hard to keep Madison all bundled up and out of the weather as much as possible. Here's what she looks like in pink:
Also, we started to incorporate her first solid, well, sort of solid foods. I mean, they were solid at one time, but now, the food is more mush. We're working on colors. Green it is for starters..... Then, we'll go for Orange... and lastly, we'll add Fruit (all colors) into the menu.
Madison wasn't so keen on her first experience of 'Green'. In this case, it was green beans. Sort of bitter, and she wasn't excited about the new work that she had to do. (Get the food off the spoon and then swallow).... Regretfully, we didn't get pictures of her scrunched up face, when she first tasted green beans... (Dina was too busy working the spoon. )
The next day, was peas! Also, classified as "Green". The peas were another story, as they are bit sweeter and more tasty. She gobbled em down and had a great time. See the photos below.
Getting ready for dinner:
The first bite seems to be the toughest..... I know she's thinking.... God No... not those Green Beans again...
And here's another:
And lastly, we thought this might be a good fashion statement. "In Style with Del Monte Peas"... I bet you didn't know how good peas are for dry skin. As you can see, my skin is smooth and healthy, and now you know my secret. Don't worry, I've already filed for a patent (they will patent anything)....
