HAPPY TIMES!!! and a Safety Tip!

Just wanted to show you how happy I can be!!!... also some important safety tips from Daddy...

I'm thinking about rhythm ... how does that beat go?....

Oh yeah, here's how it goes!

After I get done drumming, I like to practice my 'moves'.... see...

Then, I get too tired and it all catches up with me.... I'm clearly not doing my best: (but wait til you see Daddy!)

---That was hard work... (This baby stuff is hard work. I cant wait til I turn 1 and can 'retire')

So, I"m sitting here thinking.. "you know, I'm THIS BIG"

And then I think about just relaxing and watching Mommy do all that work.. and think, it sure is cool to be me!

Then, it's time to jump and play with some of this cool packing paper. Do you know how much fun it can be? I mean, it's like way cool... lots of noise, and fun to play with... just look....

Then, I get all tuckered out.. (again)

After all this, I'm tired and hungry... so it's back to my lounge chair for a snack...

And I'm done for now. DADDY? Do you want to type something now?

-----

Ok, so here's an important safety tip. When you play peek-a-boo... remember how dangerous the game can get. Especially with trick furniture in the area.... If you duck behind something, go behind it and not onto it... as you can see, I forgot that important point the other night, and I've got the 'peek-a-boo' scars to show for it!!!!

It's always fun and games until someone gets hurt!...

Have a great week...

Also, our deck is closer to being done... check out the updated photos at http://deckstory.blogspot.com

Either way, we took off last weekend with Mom and Dad to go to Spokane for the big family reunion. Madison made her big debut and she was great. Happy, content and easy going.

I know... PLEASE UPDATE THE BLOG!!!!.....

I'm sorry, but it's really been hectic here.  Lots of work to do, so many unfinished projects, and it seems like there's so little time to sit down... upload some photos and write somthing witty.  (I know you all read this for my witty comments..... yeah.  Right).... So here's some photos from some of Madison's latest adventures...

As you know, she spent 3 weeks in Florida with Kelly, and then an extended weekend in Virginia Beach....  So, she's quite the traveler for only 10 months old!

Here's some shots of Dina and Madison at the beach!!!! Madison's first run-in with the sand and surf...

Memorial Day Update

Well, it's Memorial Day weekend, so Monday still counts as the weekend!!!! sorry about the late update... We've been busy... real busy.. starting to build a deck - see

http:\\deckstory.blogspot.com

Madison is growing and hitting milestones all the time... This week was her 6 month tune up... um I mean checkup. Even though, she's 7 and half months old, she goes to the doctor based on her 'due date', not her actual birth date. So, it was the 6 month checkup.

She's doing FABULOUS!.. The dorctor was really happy with all her progress, and how well she was doing. She's long.. really long for her age almost 28 inches long, which, is like the 85th percentile for all baby girls. Not just premature ones. Needless to say, we were really happy with everything we learned.

Also, she's started to roll over lots... today, she was in her play area and was rolling over and over.... She's also um..... well, I'm not really sure, but it seems like when she gets hungry... she seems to say "Mmmm" like shes trying to say "milk"... Probably not, but, sometimes it seems like it.....

So, here's the photos...

Sleeping....

And more time sleeping... Did I mention that she's sleeping... ALOT?

And... she's really getting into this two handed drinking thing......>!!!!

We keep thinking that she's going to start walking one of these days, so we wondered if the shoes might make a difference. Since these work for me, we thought they might help her!

Madison says, ' Not yet!'
